Stars twinkling down on me
I lay as evening grew into night
My mind's eye learning to see
Lessons far beyond daylight.
Cool winds on my knitted brow
Caressing like a mother's love
My playful soul tried to know
Reasons to the patterns above.
Strange force of Nature
binding a constellation
An enigma, why is Orion just so?
Uniting hearts in a relation
Among strangers alike does it flow?
Thoughts tumbled down jostling for space
Where do I turn for truth, the dawn,
Why so transient the human race?
Yet unknown, truth is but true,
making life go on.
