H.K.HEMANTH KUMAR,Y.B.HARSHA and myself (A.V.SRINATH) just started
off one saturday night to get away from the city of Bangalore.
We were thinking of some very good place for one day. Mallalli
falls perfectly suited our schedule.
Having a comfortable overnight
journey we landed at Somvarpet at 4.00am. The morning was
very chill with varunadeva(God of Rain) was very fierceful.
We somehow managed to kill time & boarded the bus to Bidalli
which started at 7.30am.
Bidalli is about 25+kms from Somvarpet & we got down at a
stop just before bidalli. From there the waterfalls is about
2.5kms. |

|
Our walk in the rain, crossing
the bridge was a wonderful experience. Water & Greenery covered
our sight. After walking over a stretch of 2.5kms we reached
the view point.
|
For a moment our joy knew
no bounds. The breath taking view of the falls was amazing.
The falls was at its best. The clouds were just playing in
the valley. This falls is in the foot of the Pushpagiri peak.
There is a nature's created L-shaped rock formation which
is the perfect view point. Enjoying the beauty we had our
breakfast cum lunch.
We were completely drenched in the rain. Watching the panoramic
views we clicked photos to our wish.

And finally we had to
return back when
The falls was full of mist,
Our hearts full of joy,
Camera full of photos,
Mind full of memories, |
